Polymer characterization
The CTMP can provide a wide spectrum of lab tests (physico-chemical, thermal, mechanical, etc.) on state of the art regularly calibrated equipment. These tests are performed following Standard Procedures (ASTM, ISO, etc.). However, test benches or set-ups can be custom made to suit specific requirements or needs.
CTMP can also identify polymers as well as bulk material or as finish product
The CTMP can perform analysis of plastic components:
- Identification of material
- Identification and quantification of mineral charges (talc, calcium carbonate, mica, fiberglass, etc.)
- Identification and quantification of additives
- Moisture percentage
- Etc.
CTMP owns a broad variety of equipments to characterize polymers and establish a technical data sheet for a specific material.
CTMP can perform quality control of polymer supply as per functional specifications. Results from lab will qualify or discard a polymer for a particular application.
