The Centre de technologie minérale et de plasturgie inc. is a College Center for Technology Transfer (CCTT) recognized by the government of Québec as a Research & Development organization and its clients are eligible to R&D tax credit and various other financial subsidies.
The Centre de technologie minérale et de plasturgie inc. is a College Center for Technology Transfer (CCTT) recognized by the government of Québec. Because of this recognition, most of the working costs are admissible for a tax credit
by the request for adaptation technology services or the R&D tax credit.
Through its Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP), the National Research Council of Canada (NRCC) provides small and medium- sized enterprises (SME) with technical advice and financial assistance for R & D activities. Based on demonstrated need, IRAP may fund up to 50 % of certain project research and development costs. As a partner in technology, the Centre will help in taking advantage of this program.
In order to support the research activities in technology transfer centers, the Quebec Education Ministry awards subsidies for the realization of some 6 to 12 months projects. The applications have to be submitted before April 1st and November 1st of each year.
This program has been implemented by the MDEIE in an objective to financially support enterprises, preferably SME, who do business with the CCTTs (College Technology Transfer Centers) for their R&D projects.
